Bio

Madita Warter (b. 2006, Salzburg) began her musical training at the age of five at the Musikum Salzburg. At twelve, she was admitted to the Pre-College of the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she studied for five years with Andreas Weber. From 2023, she continued her studies with Johannes Wilhelm. Since the winter semester of 2025, she has been studying piano performance at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna with Doris Adam.

She is a prizewinner of national and international competitions, most recently awarded First Prize at the Lions Music Competition Austria 2026. She has also received multiple awards at Prima la Musica, including a First Prize at the national competition for piano solo in 2024 (Brixen) and a First Prize in piano chamber music in 2025. Further international distinctions include the First Prize at the Munich Piano Competition 2025, as well as prizes at the Köthen Bach Competition and the competition in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux.

Alongside her solo activities, Madita Warter regularly gains experience in ensemble and orchestral settings. In 2025, she was a member of the New Generation Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Hugo Ticciati, performing in Stockholm and at the Konzerthaus Berlin.

Important artistic impulses have come from masterclasses with Robert Levin, Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Peter Ovtcharov, and Christopher Hinterhuber.

In autumn 2025, she performed at the Bösendorfer Salon of the Vienna Musikverein as part of the Jeunesse Start-Up series. In March 2026, she made her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus in the Musica Juventutis series.
